THE
'UNIQUE' AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
A CRY TO THE "VILLAGE"
Does it really take a village to raise a child? If it did 30 years ago then just imagine what it takes to raise a child now. Our society has let go of the reigns and allowed for the mis-management of our greatest and most precious resource, "OUR CHILDREN". The decisions made that will plunge our future to success or failure will be decided upon by the youth that we raise and train to carry out the tasks of the future. Their success is based on what we do NOW! There are many of our community's youth who need extra help academically as well as in their social development but do to the economical challenges in many households, a lot of our youth are left behind. Where is the village that used to take on the task to help and to stand in the gap for our youth?
Just recently someone sent me a text that read,
"Children are 24% of our total population but they are 100% of our future".
Please donate towards a worthy cause. Our Music, Math, and Reading Program helps to develop academically sound and socially alert children who will someday direct our community to a greater place than where we stand now. Put your belief in our future, " Our Youth". Your donation will be tax deductible as we will send you documentation for such. Thanks for your care and concern for our youth. It still takes a Village to Raise a Child.
